Branding: Taste of Agave Restaurant
For the new fiscal year, Desert Diamond Casino's signature restaurant, Taste of Agave, needed a rebrand in style for all their promotions. Collateral effected includes rackcards and posters.
I went for a look that was both niche to the demographic, but also bold in statement. Something that said, although this is a restaurant you won't see outside of Arizona, it is just as elegant and sophisticated as any other high end food chain. Since the menu is the main item that customers look at, I needed this to capture the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Based off the name alone, I went for desert plant designs, but simplified them to just their outlines for a modern look. I colored them gold for the Arizona sunset, our fame to fortune, and made the background a deep navy blue for contrast. It is also the color of royalty, and I wanted the customers to feel just so.
For the Lucky Break promotion, I wanted the customers to be reminded of where they were at: Desert Diamond Casino. It was appropriate to style the poster after a slot machine, as it tied in with the name of the promotion well.

Branding: Smithsonian Museum Kid's Den
As a hypothetical, I created the branding and collateral for a proposed museum. What if the Smithsonian Museum had a children's section? A section completely dedicated to delivering information in a friendly matter to the youth demographic?
Packaging Design: Playing Cards
For this project, I was tasked to create a series of playing cards and their packaging. Each deck had to follow a specific theme. Wanting to explore different elements, I chose themes that contrasted, yet complemented each other: Underwater, Outer Space, and Forest. Although vastly different, these three themes are all related to nature, my overall theme.
Packaging Design: 999 Roses Album
九百九拾九朵玫瑰(999 Roses) by 邰正宵(Samuel Tai) is a classic, and all time favorite amongst Chinese music listeners. To commemorate this iconic song, I put together a theoretical CD design and packaging. I also created merchandise to go with it, as many artists do when promoting their albums.
